Silver Ridge HOA
Architectural Control Committee and Neighborhood Improvement Committee
29 January 2001 Meeting Minutes
ACC Members: Tony Greene, Eric Oelschlager, and Joe Escalante
NIC Members: Ben
· Call to Order
· Discussion on Architectural Control Committee (ACC) request:
o Approved 7600 Colebrook swing-set based on condition of rotating the large tent structure to the street side. Discussion on this request originated during a discussion with ACC members Tony Greene, Joe Escalante, and Tony Harrell in late December. Additionally, the swing-set was again assessed during the 4 January neighborhood inspection. The rationale of this conditional approval was also discussed and agreed to at the January Board meeting. Conclusion, it is felt that the structure is too intrusive to the neighbors both adjacent and behind the structure. As consideration for rotating the swing-set, the broad will waive the attorney fees. Action to send a NIC letter to advise homeowners.
o Approved 7669 Dundas painting request.
· Reviewed SRHOA community request/violations – information still requires update to include information from the beginning of January 2000. Action to get information from Shawn and requested ACC members to review document and provide me any updates and/or revisions.
· Reviewed the SRHOA manual – members advised that the manual will be reviewed and discussed during future meetings. The ACC will devote time at each meeting to ensure board is current on the provisions of the manual. The ACC meeting concluded.
· The NIC discussed the 8 March HOA meeting and the goals of having discounted vendors advertise their services. The assigned NIC member will solicit the following services: Custom Mail Boxes (Joe), Landscaping & Painting (Ben), Irrigation & Roof Cleaning (Eric) and Concrete Edge & Lawn Service (Tony). Inputs are due by 12 February so information can be incorporated in the 15 February newsletter. In addition, other newsletter articles recommendations include: 1) display unit numbers on home, door or mailbox recommendation; 2) fertilization schedule; 3) litter at bus stops; 4) request for neighborhood base business to phone community phone number so businesses can be place in future news letters.
· Following ACC and NIC meeting schedule: 2/22, 3/29, 4/26 and 5/24
· ACC and NIC meeting adjourn.
