Minutes of Board of Directors Meeting Silver Ridge Homeowner's Association Orange County Public Library, N. Hiawassee Rd. Orlando August 28, 2003 AD Tony Green called the meeting to order at 19:09 on August 28, 2003 AD. The notice of the meeting (located at the Hiawassee library branch) was posted at both entrances of the community 48 hours in advance to the meeting. In attendance were board members Matthew Steinhoff, Tony Green and Fay Lewis. Missing were Emily Pierson and Lee Moslow. Crystal Jackson and Tracy Lynn Duffy of Penn First Management were also here. Minutes were approved as written. The board received the financial report from Penn First Management. Next month we will need to choose an end-of-year auditor as well as an accountant to do our taxes. Steinhoff motioned that any checks not cashed in six months be considered dead; no stop payment but just consider them dead and the money returned to our books. Green seconded. Motion carries. Green motioned not to waive the $50.52 late fees for the homeowner with account 1023. Lewis seconded. Motion carries. The board received a violation report from Penn First. Lewis reports that the ACC has had to reject a large number of home improvement requests because samples are not included or poor color choices. She also provided the most recent version of the home improvement form to Penn First. Steinhoff, communication committee liaison, reports that the newsletter is in production and will be mailed the middle of next week. Penn First delivered the mailing labels. Green motioned that we include a page about the top eight violations in the community in the next (September) newsletter as well as a notice of the January mildew enforcement. Lewis seconded. Motion carries. Green, construction committee liaison, presented a bid from Dobson's Wood and Water. This bid will cover the irrigation system along Silver Star Road. More bids are still needed. Carol Perez presented a front entrance proposal to the board. Green closed the meeting at 20:20.
