Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC) Meeting

Call to order by Tony @ 8:26 pm
Motion: Accept the NIC meeting minutes as read, Motion seconded and passed
First order of business: establishing the process for deed violations
- Management Company sends letter for deed violation
- NIC sends letter
- Management Company sends certified letter
- Matter turned over to attorney. Demand letter sent
Status of Consolidated Solicitations
- Joe Escalante – Custom mailboxes. No responses yet. Joe will contact again. Home Depot, Lowe’s
- Landscaping – Slim and Sons can not handle load
- Painting – Ben Mercier (not present) will give discount. Will advertise in newsletter.
- Irrigation & Roof cleaning – Eric O. will report at next meeting
- Concrete edging – Tony. "The concrete edge" is a vendor, is willing to give a discount, and provided brochures. Link to web site will referenced in next newsletter
For next newsletter, we need to include a form for resident/homeowner owned businesses to complete so that we can advertise their businesses.

- Also discussed the need to come up with an idea on how to get house numbers painted on the curbs. This activity can be either a NIC fundraiser or a community group project.
